"The patchouli scent seems more floral to me, and I like it! I use a few drops in unscented and diluted castile soap in my bathrooms and by my kitchen sink. I love how versatile and gentle castile soap is but I also love fragrance. Patchouli Noir adds a lovely scent to the soap without being overpowering. "This is not a straight patchouli oil scent, but don't let that scare you away. This has an awesome, cologne-ish scent. I find it to be calming and pleasant. Comes in a sturdy glass bottle, as most oils do, with the addition of a childproof dropper lid as well as childproof flat cap lid."

"I love my diffusers. I mix a variety of scents throughout the house. One of my favorite is Patchouli. So when I saw this I wanted to try it immediately. I love the raw emotion fo the Patchouli. However, this scent is better I think. It doesnt hit you over the head with a raw power but leads with a gentle springlike scent with the rawness subdued under it. This may be an improvement on one of my favorite essential oils. Great scent!"
